Do you also like to buy pdf patterns, or use bits from other patterns that you have modified? Perhaps you don't have the instructions anymore, or the ones you have are difficult to understand or have very few pictures? Here is some information you may find useful. 

Note: There will be times when you will want to change the order of construction, depending on whether you might want to be able to alter the dress later. For example, sewing the side and back centre seams on a dress last will make it easier to take it in or let it out later.
